Esther Dyson on Space Travel, Personal Genomes, Investing, Social Media and more

Over 60 people gathered last night at the meetup hosted by Tatyana Kanzaveli to listen to Esther Dyson.

Here is a tweet by Shel Israel that summarizes it all: @shelisrael : @EDyson spoke @GLFCEO ’s event on space travel, social media & healthcare. She was brilliant as usual. !

This meetup was sponsored by Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. Delicious food was catered by Samovar Deli&Catering. Video has been recorded by PapiTv. And photos were taken by Marina Bichinsky.

Over $200 were raised for Global Learning Foundation’s Global Orphanage Network project!

Esther Dyson will be speaking on April 7th at the Silicon Valley Meetup

A few weeks ago I found out that Esther Dyson - the woman I admire so much - will be in California for a few days. Almost right after her extended stay in Star City and Baikonur! Where she was getting training to become a cosmonaut!

And now I am happy to report that Esther will be available to answer your questions at the upcoming CIO/IT Executives meetup on April 7 in Mountain View. We are asking attendees to submit your questions in the comments area below if at all possible so that we can keep track of them.

We are planning number of special things that will make this evening very special for you and for Esther! - but shh - it’s a secret!

Hope to see you all on April  7, 2009 at the CIO/IT Executives meetup

Support our events! We appreciate it!
